The world’s cheapest smartphone Freedom 251, which was announced in February 2016 by Indian company Ringing Bells. The company was announced Freedom 251 just for $3.70 (INR 251), this made the company as a scamming one by Indian politicians and worldwide media.
Now the company Ringing Bells has confirmed that Freedom 251 is not a scamming one by announcing that its shipping will happen by the end of this month.
Freedom 251 will be the cheapest smartphone which runs on the android platform. It is a dual SIM 3G smartphone which is powered by 1.3 GHz processor along with 1 GB of Random Access Memory. The chipset of the processor has not yet confirmed. Other features of Freedom 251 are 8 GB of internal storage space (can be increased up to 32 GB with a microSD card), 8 megapixels primary and 3.2 megapixels secondary shooters, and finally 1,800 mAh battery.
