On June 13, 2016, during its E3 2016 press conference, Microsoft announced their new undertaking terming it ‘Project Scorpio’ which is slated to be a high-end model with upgraded hardware, something the company claims to be, “The Most Powerful Console Ever”.

According to an official statement from Microsoft at their E3 2016 conference, the company openly revealed intentions of rolling out the Xbox 2 by late 2017. Considering one basic fact pertaining to the name ‘Scorpio’ in accordance with the console, it might very well be assumed that ‘Scorpio’ refers to the Zodiac birth sign. Ideally, Scorpions are born between October 23 and November 21 so can very well expect that Microsoft will roll out their upcoming console somewhere in between that later this year. Although there have been significant reports stating that Microsoft will not be able to keep up with their proposed release date, the only thing we can do is wait it out. . Microsoft has rolled out their base consoles in the month of November consistently since the original Xbox and Project Scorpio is looking to be no different.
