You may already noticed that, there is no hibernate option in Windows start-menu power options. Then you may think that how do you hibernate your windows computer. Step 1: From the Windows taskbar, right click on the battery icon and select power options. Or you can launch power options from the windows control panel.
Open Control panel > System and Security > and launch Power options.
Step 2: In windows Power options from the left side panel select ‘Choose what the power button does‘.
Step 3: Now click on ‘Change settings that are currently unavailable‘.
Step 4: You will be now activated the shut-down settings in the bottom of this Window. Select all the items you need in Windows start-menu power options and click save changes.
